Information about stilts and stilt walking.

Here's a few pictures of myself on stilts doing the Uncle Sam routine. The tall musical drum set is called a "JIBE STICK", which is very handy (and a life saver) on windy days. It consists of: bongo drum, tambourine, large cymbal, small cymbal, ding-dong bells, go-go bells, four brass & steel squeeze horns, bike ringer, and a ratchet. These a bike handle in the middle where I grip. The very bottom of the jibe stick has a rubber crutch tip. This instrument is actually quite versatile, capable of playing and blending in with performing musicians, or can be used to create a attention getting rhythmic percussion sound effects.

ARM STILT actually move at the wrist. Unless you've used these arms, you won't believe the attention they create. Standing on a curb can get almost every car to honk. It's a guaranteed attention getter. See more pictures & info of Arm Stilts.
